Dear Friends,

I am proud to serve as President and CEO of your children's hospital - Manning Family Children's. In 2025, we have ushered in a new era of pediatric care for children across Louisiana, the Gulf South, and far beyond in partnership with the Manning Family. Having spent my career in pediatrics, I am passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of all children, and am proud to be leading our team in continuing the vital mission of Children’s Hospital New Orleans into its next chapter - as we proudly become Manning Family Children's.

Our transformational new partnership with the Manning Family – Olivia, Archie, Cooper, Peyton and Eli - will have a lasting impact on children and families not just in Louisiana, but far beyond, marking a pivotal new chapter in our 70-year legacy. Over the last six years, in addition to significant investments on our main campus, we have added and expanded transformational programs like Behavioral Health, Trauma and Grief, and our ThriveKids student wellness program, which focused on mental health and violence prevention - in schools.

Each day, our compassionate team of providers and staff help ensure that kids across Louisiana and the Gulf South have access to the specialized care they need. In fact, in 2024, we cared for 585,000 kids - the most ever in our history, and regardless of the family's ability to pay, with nearly $50M provided in charitable care and vital community programs.

Together, with our academic partners at LSU Health New Orleans and Tulane University School of Medicine, we are poised to take on the health challenges our kids and communities are facing by offering the highest level of pediatric care right here in Louisiana.

Our vision is to move Louisiana from last in pediatric health outcomes to becoming a national leader in child health and wellbeing. The ongoing support of our community helps make that vision possible, and ensure our ability to deliver lifesaving and lifechanging care for all kids, regardless of ability to pay. Together, we have made this future possible, and approach each day with hope, determination, and an unwavering commitment to serve all children. That has been the DNA of Children’s since 1955.
